Our cabins have a lot of country charm. We have been told that these cabins, two were originally forest service ranger cabins, take a person a step back in time. They are clean, bright, non-smoking and are tastefully decorated with a few antiques. Each unit is set up independently and suitable for the maximum occupancy number specified.

We do not have adequate facilities (common kitchen, dining hall or bathrooms) for large groups and therefore discourage large group gatherings.

There are no telephones in the cabins. There is good cell phone reception at our location through Telus. WIFI wireless service is available on-site for internet connection with personal computers.

In Alberta, it is customary to remove outside footwear upon entering a private residence or guest cabin. Please bring slippers or clean deck shoes for inside wear. Extra cleaning fees will apply for those who choose not to comply.

Nutritious breakfasts are served in our main house between 8 am and 10 am daily. We offer home-made granola, yogurt, toast, muffins, bagels, jams, cheese, fresh fruit in season, orange juice, tea and plenty of freshly brewed coffee.

RIVERSIDE CAMPING SITES

TEEPEES: Teepees are available from mid-May long weekend to mid-October. Each teepee has a comfortable double bed, rustic wash stand, lounge chairs, wood floor, outside picnic table, firepit and propane barbeque. At a minimum guests must bring a flashlight and matches and be prepared for camping overnight in a tent. We provide good quality camp cots for additional teepee occupants at $5/night per child (2 - 16 years old) and $10/night per adult. We prefer if teepee guests bring their own sleeping bags but can provide warm bedding at a cost of $15/bed (not per night) for single or double bedding for those who are unable to bring their own bedding ie. international travelers. Our one 18' teepee can sleep up to five adults, two 16' teepees can sleep three adults or two adults and two children and the one 14' teepee sleeps two adults. Teepees by their design are not completely sealed from the elements and some water will drip inside during heavy storms. We provide waterproof cover tarps for the beds and gear.

CAMP SITES: Unserviced camping sites for tenting or camper (RV) parking with picnic table, firepit and grille. There is a near-by outhouse (pit) toilet and separate shower house with flush toilet on-site. Split fire wood is available for purchase for outside fires at a nominal fee.
